Rob Cairns

After graduating from Berklee College of Music in 1991, Rob moved to Los Angeles and began what has become a rather diverse and prolific career composing for television, film, animation, computer games, emerging digital media, and dance. His episodic television credits include Nature (PBS), The Bachelor and The Bachelorette (ABC), Thieves (ABC), Girls Club (David. E. Kelley/Fox), Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn (Comedy Central) and I Love the 80s (VH1). His audio branding works include audio identities and promotional development for over 25 networks including: ABC, FX, E!Entertainment Television, VH1, HBO, Food Network, BET, TNN, SKY/UK, Animax/Japan, Game Show Network, TLC, and STYLE. His commercial scores include DirecTV, Cadillac, TiVO, Kraft Foods, PG&E, and Pampers. Rob has been creatively associated with Helios Dance Theater since 1994 when he composed a string quartet for the solo Do’s and Don’ts.
