Kindred Gottlieb (Lighting Designer)
Kindred Gottlieb began designing in 1992 for the Amherst 5-College Dance Department. A native of Los Angeles, she has designed for Culture Clash, Debbie Allen Dance Academy and the Fresh Tracks Performance Series, among others. In 1999, she served as Lighting Supervisor for Seattle Repertory Theater. From 2001-2004, Kindred was Technical Director for Dock 11 Tanz Studio in Berlin and designed for many Berlin-based dance companies including Felix Ruckard, Zen in the Basement, Yuko Caseki, and Tanzakademie Balance. Kindred is currently Master Electrician for the UCLA theater department.
